PAG Chairman talks Rising COVID Cases Post Christmas & New Years Celebration–Warns of Increased Chances of Omicron Permeating Community, with Patti

Chairman of the Physician’s Advisory Group (PAG), Dr. Nathaniel Berg (MD) speaks to Patti with an update on COVID-19 as it relates to Guam. Dr. Berg discusses a rise in COVID-19 positive cases post the Christmas and New Year holidays, which saw not only an increase in social gatherings, but visits from family and friends from off-island as well. According to Dr. Berg, the issue no longer lies in contracting COVID-19, rather it is in protecting the island community of Guam from having to be hospitalized as a result of COVID, which Berg says can be achieved by getting vaccinated and receiving the COVID-19 booster shot.
