Public Affairs Officer (PAO) for Guam National Guard, Mark Scott speaks to Patti about the decision by the Vaccine and Antiviral Prioritization Policy Committee (VAPPC) to lower the age of eligibility to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to include individuals of sixteen years of age and older. Though Scott warns Guam’s listening public of the possibility of longer wait times as a result of the inclusion of Guam’s young adults, he announces the Guam National Guard is ready to serve the island and follow through with Operation: Liberate Guam, which would see Guam’s island community reach 80% vaccinatied herd immunity by Liberation Day on July 21, 2021.
