Deputy Superintendent of Educational Support & Communication for Guam Department of Education (GDOE), Erika Cruz speaks to Patti about an upcoming COVID-19 vaccination outreach campaign set to begin this Saturday from 16:00 – 19:00 (CHST) at the Father Duenas High School Phoenix Center in the village of Mangilao. In addition to this, GDOE is also hosting a job fair at Okkodo High School in the village of Dededo from 09:00 – 15:00 (CHST), and will be looking to hire school aides, community program aides, substitute teachers, and teachers. On the topic of a return to face-to-face learning, Cruz says GDOE students and parents alike can look forward to seeing high school students return as early as December 1, 2020.
