The economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has hit Guam hard, leaving many residents jobless and some struggling to get their next meal. This is the reason why a group of concerned community members banded together to help feed the need. Hundreds of cars lined up to get a bag filled with goods such as canned tuna, dried beans, rice, or fruit at one of three locations throughout the island as part of the “Feed the Need” food drive. The drive was organized by former Senator Frank Blas to help workers displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
