The University of Guam Cancer Research Center and University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center invite you to join in the third Health Providers Cancer Symposium – Pacific Region! As we continue to live through a global pandemic, it is only fitting that our conference focus on the impacts of COVID-19 to cancer health services in the Pacific region. Topics include the impact of COVID-19 on cancer screening and care as well as evidence-based strategies to promote screening to the community. Speakers include clinicians and researchers from Guam and Hawai‘i.
This event will be held virtually via Zoom on November 21, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (GU)/ November 20, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (HI). The webinar is open to all health providers (Guam, Hawai’i, and the USAPIs), members of Cancer Coalitions or cancer care organizations, and members in the community who are interested or involved in cancer-related work or research. CME credits are pending approval from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
