Interim Chief Medical Officer for Department of Public Health & Social Services (DPHSS), Dr. Robert “Bob” Leon Guerrero (MD) speaks to Patti about COVID-19 booster shots. Presently, only the Pfizer brand of COVID-19 vaccines are being offered as a booster, and the only demographic eligible to receive it are 65 years of age or older, or the booster has been recommended by a physician.
In the latter half of Mornings with Patti, Dr. Leon Guerrero returns to give further guidance specifically for the Moderna vaccine. The interview comes after a previous conversation with Mayor Louise Rivera about an upcoming Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic her office was helping to host.
