Mayor of the Municipality of Dededo, Melissa Savares speaks to Patti about an increase in crime in her village, which appears to be seeing an even greater increase since the end of year holidays. The conversation with Mayor Savares follows a phone call from a listener of NewsTalk K57 who shared her own recent experience with burglars stealing her home security cameras. Mayor Savares also comments on illegal cockfighting occurring in Dededo, suggesting that some Guam Police Department officers may be involved. She added that other Guam Mayors concur.
