Member of the Guam Review Board for Historic Preservation / Guam Preservation Trust & President of Guam Boonie Stompers, Dave Lotz speaks to Patti about wildfires, this coming as Guam continues to be under a fire weather watch. Lotz cites the erosion caused by wildfires as being detrimental to the ecosystem, but also references exploits of off-road vehicles as contributing to mass erosion, the result of which ultimately ends up in the ocean, causing further destruction to Guam’s marine life. Lotz also makes comment regarding the lack of information coming out of the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) as it involves the discovery of ancestral remains discovered at military construction sites.
