Administrator for Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH), Lillian Posadas speaks with Patti about the hospital beginning administering the COVID-19 booster shots to frontline workers. Currently, the only booster shot that has been approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) is the Pfizer brand of vaccine. At the time of this interview, only 52 employees have yet to be fully-vaccinated, though GMH’s HR & Employee Health are tracking these employees to ensure they are continuing to test for COVID. Posadas also speaks about the Army Reserve Nurses, of which GMH has 15 to mitigate the overload of patients across all departments.
